HOW I APPROACH MY PRACTICE

My approach is simple, I am totally client centered.  I believe in listening to understand, not just to answer.  I am non-judgmental, and practice acceptance and openness.

I am known for my collaborative approach, and my ability to help people understand how their life experiences impact their emotions, behaviors and attitudes today.  Oftentimes when people feel stuck and overwhelmed, they blame themselves for their suffering. Understanding the bigger picture can help shift this perspective so change is possible.

We are all unique, and I have found that where one form of therapy may be a fit for one person it may not be for another.  I carefully match each of my clients and their unique circumstances to the most appropriate evidence based approaches. We will also identify additional practices that you can consider to assist you in reaching your goals.  Working together, we will figure out the best strategies to bring you relief, and help you develop the knowledge and skills you need to move forward and bring balance to your life.
